Chief Clinical Transformation Officer, Oschner Health System​

 

Dr Milani is the Chief Clinical Transformation Officer, Vice-Chairman (Department of Cardiology) at Ochsner Health System, and Professor of Medicine at Ochsner Clinical School (The University of Queensland School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana).  Ochsner Health System was among the first US systems to manage patients with chronic conditions using Apple's HealthKit data-sharing platform in conjunction with the Apple watch and iPhone. Dr Milani is also the Medical Director of innovationOchsner (“iO”), an innovation lab and accelerator which reimagines and revolutionizes the experience and delivery of healthcare to dramatically enhance quality and access to care, decrease costs, and improve patient satisfaction and engagement, and caregiver efficiency. Dr Milani’s research interests involve healthcare delivery, information systems, clinical decision support, and chronic disease management and prevention.
